Captain Morgan Loconut– it’s a Caribbean Rum with notes of fresh coconut & hints of toasted vanilla with a faint dark spice.
Creamy Frozen Blended Mojito Recipe
My friend Angela introduced me to Captain Morgan Loconut. Like usual, I find a flavor I like and become obsessed. I wear it out like a pop song on the radio! Remember my blog post Gin, Grapefruit, and Rosemary cocktail? I keep Rosemary Simply Syrup in the fridge and ready! Since I loved her cocktail so much, I imagined other flavors that would go well with coconut (hundreds) and decided to create a Creamy Frozen Blended Mojito Recipe.
NOTE: I tried making it with canned coconut milk and box of coconut milk (found in refrigerated milk section) and CANNED COCONUT MILK is much creamier thus became the winner.
I’m not paid to get tipsy and consume calories (I’m kidding) but I’d gladly be a Rep for Captain Morgan because they really out did themselves with this little treat. I like it so much, I’m incorporating it into the cocktail menu for my husband’s Caribbean themed 40th birthday party. I’ll share these two Caribbean inspired cocktails with you all soon.

I’m sitting poolside enjoying my family, Arizona spring weather, and my Creamy Frozen Blended Mojito. Captain Morgan Loconut – you are so legit.
Creamy Frozen Blended Mojitio
A simple to make – deliciously creamy – cocktail for the summer!
- 1 Can Coconut Milk
- 6 oz. Captain Morgan LOCONUT
- 1-2 Handfuls Ice
- 2 whole Limes
- 1/2 cup Mint
Fill your blender (I use a Ninja) with Ice, Mint (leave some for garnish), juice from one whole lime, Captain Morgan and coconut milk. Blend well. Pour in your highball glass and garnish with a sprig of mint and a slice of lime.
**Cut half way through lime slices so they can slide on to the glass rim.
