The Scope of this blog is growing into controversial and triggering conversations.
Discussions with women, and occasionally men, about assault, rape, vulnerability, self worth, loss/grief, forgiveness, and dialogue of differing opinions. Also, you’ll see information and fact-findings as I write.
This has to happen because as my book develops, the content isn’t pretty or easy to digest. It is a deep look into a story that I believe looks a lot like millions of other women’s stories.
Most of the women who contact me have been victims or love someone who has been afflicted by tragedy one way or another. As I work on the last portion of my story, I can’t help but notice the need to dig into these things more and more, as well as, provide a forum for others to do the same.
Whether you want to share, discuss, or just simply read and check out where I’m at in my discoveries and writing, this is a good place to be.
If you are looking for soft, feel good stuff then this probably will not be a spot you’ll want to land on:(
I do promise that the stories you share with me are sacred and will remain anonymous unless you give me permission to share more.
Stay awhile and be prepared for more very soon.
I have a long story and am sort of in that lousy club… we still don’t know exactly what happened but my brother snapped one day and killed his wife and daughter…. he didn’t have a mean bone in his body, and they were all so close… he tried killing himself afterwards but was unsuccessful…. he still doesn’t remember and it’s been 5 years in June… my heart goes out to you for your loss…
My goodness Diana, I cannot imagine the confusion and pain your family must feel. Are you able to speak to him and ask him questions? I’m so sorry and so glad you’re here. love and blessings to you.
