
Patricia Preciado Martin, a Tucson native and renowned author and oral historian known for contributing to Chicana/o literature narrating the cultural heritage and rich love of Southern Arizona. Her work has been internationally recognized and she is the recipient of multiple awards including the Virginia McCormick Scully Award for the best work of fiction by a Latina in its first year of publication in 1983.
