I’ve never read a book in the amount of time that I completed Verity. In less than 36 hours I opened the cover and closed the back. The first page hooked me with what seemed to be a coincidental meeting between a starving author and a handsome business man. It left you wondering what would happen next and hoping for seduction. Soon enough, Colleen Hoover delivers just that and more. Unlike many books that have useless fluff, every word was worthy of taking up space on its page. I was addicted!

She isn’t sure why she is chosen to complete the work of Verity but due to her circumstances, she can’t resist the bizarre offer. Was the run in with Verity’s husband a coincidence who offered Lowen to stay in their mansion so she could have access to all of Verity’s writing? Why had death and tragedy plagued the Crawfords and was all of this by design or accident? Was the manuscript the truth of the evil past or a twisted story. Lastly, was Lowen imagining what she saw or was it real?
