In June, I published a survey called “What We Think About Violent Sex Crime”. The results were fascinating to say the least and the data has contributed to my writing on a new level.
I really want to have open dialogue with you and I thought by sharing the results visually, you may form some opinions and ideas as well based off the collective data. See what YOU, and other women like you, had to say.

The only male that responded to the survey was my husband because I asked him to do a test run. He hates this stuff. Haha.

This question was primarily to determine what age group makes up the majority of my audience. It’s also interesting because perspective is hugely based off of experience and learned behavior, so looking at the ages and their corresponding answers say’s a lot about generational differences.

My book is really a true crime/memoir and this question was to determine if my audience is on a website/blog that will address their interests and concerns. Everything thing boils down to a good fit.

I wanted to know what emotion and/or benefit one receives from reading and/or watching true crime. This really goes back to question 3 as to making sure I’m delivering content that is worth reading.

This question–#6– will be the topic of discussion next week and I’ll begin to dive into how it relates to Attribution Error.

So many things to discuss here and we will do that after the post goes live on September 13th.

You’ll notice that I left the open ended results blank and I did that intentionally. I’ll be going over some of the questions in separate blog posts so I can really capture what you all said and my thoughts as well. Additionally, I’d like to start doing more Facebook live videos so we can discuss it contemporaneously.
You can give me your feedback in the comment section below as to what you’d like to discuss further; perhaps a particular question or concern, or maybe something you’d like to elaborate on. I have a plan here so please stick with me week by week. This is going to be GOOD!
